Woman / young girl with plow & oxen. Farmers were mostly women & old men. Typically the man's job. Clearly the men were off doing something else -- on which side, I couldn't say. Photo © Paul Hellweg

Temple buried in the forest. We came across it while on an operation in 'Indian Country', a long way from civilization. We didn't explore because highly likely booby-trapped. Photo © Paul Hellweg
Chevrotain (tiny deer / mouse deer) caught alive trapped under armored vehicle. Released back into jungle after photo-op. Apparently most didn't fare so well. I plead not guilty. We released the little guy back into the wild. Only thing I ever did to contribute to their extinction was to call in artillery fire & airstrikes. At the time, my only thought was self-preservation & keeping my unit from being wiped out. Photo © Paul Hellweg
